Colour Compositions explores the activation, interaction, and behaviour of working with colour.

Inspired by the work of artist and educator Josef Albers and his seminal book Interaction of Colour, this project investigates his method, which posits that one can only truly understand the nature of colour by observing its activation in different contexts.

Through a collaging process, the project incorporates varicoloured, patterned, and uniquely shaped swatches to examine how volume, shape, texture, and consistency influence the perception and behaviour of colour.
